12 inches! We finally have a beautiful blanket of snow on the ground. It started last night as we left the final holiday party of the evening, and continued through the night. It's so much fun to watch Rylee walk out of her room in the morning, still half asleep, dragging her feet, eyes barely open...then she looks outside...and immediately, the smiles, the squealing, the happiness. Can we go outside, can we go outside? And of course we did, twice. We made snow nests, played "hide the treasure" in the drifts, made snowballs, snow angels, took a walk before the snow plows came through...Eventually we made it back inside, to warm ourselves with hot tea and piles of blankets. It was a very very good day.

YES !! We've had a lot of snow too....we have a 17" snowpack from the last 2 storms...my boys go out and don't come inside until they are so crusted with snow they are like living snowmen !! I must confess, when they were little I'd go out with them, but now I stay inside, tend the fire and get the hot chocolate ready ! Great photos....
Looks like you guys got a bit more snow than we did here. A lot of it is melted today. I would love it if it were all snowy for Christmas.
Love the black and white photos!
Wow that's a ton of snow. We have had a ton of snow ourselves. I'm documeting every time it snows. I'm on day 4 so far.
I love your winter wonderland pictures!
It sounds (and looks) perfect!
Loooove days like this! My little one didn't like being outside much, but the older one was out all day playing! (and nice and tired at bedtime).
how beautiful! we ended up getting NO snow and very little rain! it was mostly wind - high winds at 25-40 mph!
Love the photos, Lindsay. You and your hubbie look adorable...and your daughter seems to be having a ball! Priceless.

Hi Lindsay, In regards to the question about acrylic paint brushes, I used to use mongoose hair brushes. I just LOVED them. The art store I go to used to sell them really cheap...then they ran out of them. When I went looking for more, I realized that mongoose can be expensive. So I switched to just cheap bristle brushes. If you don't mind spending a little bit more, I highly suggest the mongoose hair brushes. You can get a lot of control with them.
